Coaching
I help emerging new leaders make real change by leading with more authenticity, purpose, and joy.
Why I coach
& for whom
When more leaders lead from a grounded place of authenticity and purpose, I believe that the world will move into a more beautiful and just place. In my 10+ year career working in film studios, newsrooms, tech companies, and non-profits, I’ve seen the costs of an unsupported leader, not just on them but on their teams. I’ve also seen and been mentored by leaders who are grounded, purposeful, and authentic.
These leaders changed my life. We need more of them.
I myself didn’t see a possibility where I could lead with my true voice. Most corporations have an idea of what an “ideal leader” looked like, and it always felt like wearing an ill-fitted suit with shoulder pads.
Then I was introduced to an executive coach, and through our sessions, I learned to lead like me. A personal leadership style that I loved and still do love cultivating. One that feels like a cozy and comfortable sweater. Since then, I’ve been managing teams and building departments with a true sense of purpose and joy.
If you are:
An emerging leader looking for leadership development
A new manager wanting to grow in leadership and confidence
Feeling lost in the sauce and wanting to clarify your purpose
Passionate about making change and don’t know where to start
Navigating a career transition and needing a sounding board
What My Clients Say
-
"Coaching helped me realize the importance of listening to my emotions and having balance in life.
There were so many aha moments after our coaching sessions that made me want to (and sometimes actually) dance around my apartment of excitement, but I think the one I'll remember most is when you helped me realize that decision making doesn't have to feel black or white.”
Cassidy S., Community Engagement Manager

"This has deeply shifted my own understanding of a fulfilling life and helped me reprioritize my entire lifestyle.
I implemented practices that prioritized finally slowing down and letting go of the productivity hustle that I was programmed into for years. Kerri helped guide me to let go of the busy-ness, to focus instead on what would nourish and nurture me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
Colette G., Film Director
How we’ll collaborate
My passion for coaching is in supporting people to lead from a more connected, authentic place. I want to cultivate leaders who are clear on their personal values, know how to convey their vision, and manage teams with confidence.
Here’s what we will work on:
#1: Clarity on your core values
Whether it’s conscious or not, you have core values from which you operate. They are what matters most to us and what we stand for. When we’re not operating from them, we feel a lack of integration. Knowing your core values gives you a foundation for alignment, which will empower you as a leader to be confident and authentic.
#2: Confidence in decision-making
Of the many leaders I’ve coached, most of their challenges center on decision-making. Should I be doing X, or Y? How do I know which option to choose? After getting clear on your core values, we will explore your relationship to decision-making, how it shows up in your leadership, and how you want to cultivate your decision-making skills moving forward.
#3: Defining your leadership
Instead of letting corporations or bosses determine what “good leadership” is for you, we’ll work to define what is most authentic to your voice, values, and being. If leadership is about guiding, communicating vision, and collaborating effectively — then there are many ways to do so. How do you want to lead?

I am an ontological coach. Ontology is the study of being. Through ontology, our coaching focuses on your way of being as the foundational driver of your behavior, communication, and beliefs. It is a powerful framework for navigating the unpredictable nature of everyday life, because it transforms your way of being as the path to designing a purposeful life.

Coaching is active and focused on the present. Our sessions will center on the now. It is also driven by what you want to achieve. It is forward-looking, goal-oriented, and action-oriented. On the other hand, therapy looks into the past, where people understand how to cope or come to terms with something that happened before or is diagnosis related. There are commonalities, both can work beautifully in tandem, but they are different. I’ve done both extensively myself, and can share from my perspective if you’d like.

First, we’ll start with a discovery call where we can get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit. If you choose to commit, we recommend a minimum of 10 sessions. We’ll start with co-creating your coaching plan together, outlining the outcomes and actions you want to achieve. You, as the client, will choose the focus of every conversation, while I, as the coach, will create a safe and trusted space for you to explore.
